Ingredients

Scale

For the Wraps

  • 1 lb (450g) ground beef (or your choice of protein)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 large tortillas or wraps
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup diced onions
  • 1/2 cup pickles, sliced

For the Special Sauce

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sugar-free ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Special Sauce: In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, sugar-free ketchup, yellow mustard, white vinegar, onion powder, garlic powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix thoroughly until smooth. Cover the bowl and refrigerate the sauce while you prepare the rest of the ingredients to allow the flavors to meld.
  2. Cook the Ground Beef: Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and break it apart with a spatula as it cooks. Season with salt and pepper. Continue cooking until the beef is browned and fully cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Drain any excess grease to keep the wraps from becoming greasy.
  3. Assemble the Wraps: Lay out each tortilla or wrap flat on your work surface. Spread a spoonful of the special sauce evenly across the center of each wrap. Add a portion of cooked ground beef, followed by shredded lettuce, shredded cheddar cheese, diced onions, and sliced pickles in layers to build the classic Big Mac flavor profile.
  4. Roll the Wraps: Fold the sides of each wrap inward and roll tightly from the bottom up to enclose the filling securely. Use toothpicks to hold the wraps together if needed.
  5. Optional Grilling: For a warm, crispy exterior, grill or toast the wraps in a dry skillet over medium heat for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown. Slice each wrap in half diagonally and serve immediately with extra special sauce for dipping.

Notes

  • You can customize the toppings and sauce quantities according to your taste and dietary preferences.
  • These wraps can be prepped in advance and kept in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Add the special sauce just before serving to keep the wraps from getting soggy.
  • For a spicy variation, add sliced jalapeños to the filling or mix hot sauce into the special sauce.
