Experience the delicate floral notes of a Sakura Latte, a beautifully fragrant and soothing beverage made with sakura cherry blossom powder, creamy milk, and a touch of vanilla sweetness. Perfect for a comforting treat, this latte can be enjoyed warm or iced, tailored to your preference.

Ingredients

Scale

Sakura Base

  • 2 tsp Sakura Cherry Blossom Powder from Matcha Oishii
  • 50 ml hot water

Milk Mixture

  • 200 ml milk (any variety: dairy or plant-based)
  • 1 tsp vanilla syrup or sweetener of your choice
  • Ice cubes (optional, for a frozen version)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Sakura Powder: Place 2 teaspoons of sakura cherry blossom powder into a cup or mug. Add 50 ml of hot water and whisk thoroughly using a whisk, spoon, or electric mixer until the powder is fully dissolved with no lumps remaining.
  2. Warm the Milk: In a separate cup, warm 200 ml of milk to your preferred temperature. Alternatively, for an iced Sakura Latte, simply pour the milk cold without warming. Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla syrup or your chosen sweetener to the milk if you desire a sweeter drink.
  3. Combine Sakura Base with Milk: Pour the prepared sakura mixture into the milk. Stir gently and observe the beautiful pink hue developing, creating the sakura latte.
  4. Optional Final Touch: For a frothy texture, top with milk foam. If you prefer it cold, add ice cubes to the glass to make a refreshing frozen Sakura Latte.

Notes

  • Sakura cherry blossom powder dissolves easily but whisk thoroughly to avoid lumps.
  • You can use any milk variety, including almond, oat, or soy milk, depending on your dietary preference.
  • Vanilla syrup can be substituted with honey, agave, or any sweetener you like.
  • For a traditional hot latte, use warmed milk and serve immediately.
  • Adding ice cubes creates a refreshing iced or frozen version, perfect for warmer days.
